Library Available for Air Conditioning
The Council on Aging will make routine checks on seniors during the hot weather.
In a statement from , Nancy Baker, assistant town administrator, said Dedham does not have a cooling center set-up at this time.
"The Council on Aging continue to make wellness checks of our most vulnerable seniors," Baker wrote.
The Dedham libraries are open and air conditioned for residents who want to get out of the heat, she stated.

The town's civil defense director also is available to relocate residents, if necessary, Baker said.
