Discolored Water Advisory in Dedham This Weekend

From now until Monday, Dedham residents have been asked to check the water color before drinking or doing laundry.

Dedham residents may experience discolored water this weekend while The Dedham- Westwood Water District replaces a valve at its Water Treatment Plant on University Ave.

During the work, the Water Treatment Plant will be shut down, according to Eileen Commane, Executive Director of the Dedham- Westwood Water District.

“ The normal pattern of water flow will be reversed,” Commane said in a written statement. “There will be areas of Town with discolored water.”
