Dedham Officials Seek Public Input for Town Manager Search

Take an online survey and let officials know what you think makes for a good TM.

Officials in Dedham are looking to local residents for input as they search for a new Town Manager.

The Dedham Town Manager Screening Committee is looking for feedback as it recruits and screens potential candidates for the role, according to the Mother Brook Arts & Community Center, which is also working to support the search.

Former Town Administrator Bill Keegan wrapped up his career in Dedham in April to begin a new role as Foxborough's Town Manager, having signed a three-year contract with the town's Board of Selectmen. Since Keegan moved one, Assistant Town Manager Nancy Baker has been serving as Dedham's Interim Town Manager as the search continues.

To obtain local input, officials have released a new online survey that asks questions on such details as "willingness to engage with the community" to "negotiation experience" to "openness to multiple perspectives."
