Most offices that I know of (including mine) work on 37.5 hour schedules, 7.5 working hours paid per day with a 30 minute lunch making up the full 8 hours. That, and FYI - the non-hourly employees generally put in far more hours than are reflected by the hours that the building is open. Not sure if you thought that government offices were sweatshops with walking bosses, or union shops where every employee is tracked per working minute by GPS.

I work 8-5 Monday through Friday, non union, non "walking bosses" and not a sweatshop. I get paid for 40 hours. Also didn't know you were keeping track of the non-hourly workers and how they work more hours that are reflected, you are busy! Perhaps in your comment next time you won't need to use sarcasm to get your point across, good luck with that.

No, I will probably use sarcasm, just like you did in your first comment. Sorry your office is stuck in the stone age, glad to see that you're at least not docked for posting to Patch on company time.

HAHAHAHA, wow! Also, it's funny that you assume I'm at work. Have a great day.

Just an observation, you seem easily amused.
