Patrick McCabe is looking to fill a vacant seat for , which covers several towns, including Dedham. McCabe has been  explaining why he's a solid choice for a successor to Governor's Council member Kelly Timilty, who passed away this year.

Massachusetts State Sen.  is up for re-election this fall. Rush defeated Westwood resident and candidate Michael Walsh in the 2010 primary and won against Brad Williams in the election that year. Local officials  in January after the Senator returned home after serving overseas in Iraq.

State (D-Norwood) will be seeking re-election in November 2012 to serve as the State Representative for the 12th Norfolk District. Rogers is a 19-year incumbent and will face challenger Jim Stanton (R-Walpole) for the second time.

Congressman Stephen Lynch is up for re-election this fall. In April,  to act as his liaison for Westwood, Dedham, Medfield, Norwood, Walpole and Canton.   in November 2010 after defeating Republican candidate Vernon Harrison and Independent candidate Phil Dunkelbarger.
