Police: Woman Drove Drunk, Crashes Into Another Vehicle

Dedham Police charged a woman with OUI and driving with a suspended license on Friday.

Police arrested a woman Friday for allegedly driving drunk and crashing into another car on Elm Street in Dedham.

Catherine Jones was charged with operating under the influence and driving with a suspended license at around 10 p.m. 

According to police, Jones hit a car that attempted to make a U-turn on Elm Street, and when they responded police stated the smelled an odor of alcohol on Jones' breath.

Jones allegedly failed two field tests administered by police, and gave inconsistent statements as to where she had drank that evening.also allege she thought it was 11 p.m.

Jones did not take a breathalyzer test to determine her blood-alcohol content, according to reports.
