Police: Teenager Broke into East Dedham Gas, Nothing Stolen

Police arrested Daniel Roche, who they say was near the scene of the incident.

Police arrested a Dedham teen early Sunday morning for allegedly breaking into East Dedham Gas on Milton Street.

Daniel Roche, 18, was found by police near the scene and questioned on site, and, according to police, gave different accounts to different officers.

Police said they found shards of glass that match broken glass from the store's front door in Roche's Adidas sneakers. A greasy footprint at the scene also matched the sole of Roche's sneakers, according to a police report.

When the keyholder for the store arrived, he told police that nothing was missing from the gas station.

Roche was charged with breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony.

Single-Car Accident Sends 1 to Hospital

A man not identified by police reports was transported to the hospital Saturday afternoon after he swerved and hit into a telephone pole on Dedham Boulevard, according to police.

The man told officers that he swerved to the right when a car attempted to pass him on the left-hand side, over a double-solid yellow line. His injuries were considered non-life threatening, according to police.

Wallet Stolen from Love Culture

A woman reported to Dedham police that her wallet was stolen from inside Love Culture at Legacy Place. According to the police report, the wallet contained a license, birth certificate, Social Security card, house and car keys, as well as an undisclosed amount of cash
