At 2:24 p.m., police cited a driver on Providence Highway after pulling a vehicle over for taking a u-turn at a section of the road where u-turns were prohibited. The driver did not have a Massachusetts license and told police he'd been living in the state for about six years, according to police records.

At 3 p.m., police received a report of a hit-and-run accident in the area of Washington Street, where a vehicle pulled out of Wilson Avenue and reportedly did not stop at a stop sign, and pulled into the middle of the right lane on the road. The person reporting the incident claimed she could not pull into the other lane due to traffic, and as such hit the car in front of her. No injuries were reported.

At around 3:24 p.m., Dedham's Animal Control Officer received a report of a dog who had been reportedly let out in the rain and potentially in distress. The ACO verified with the Town Clerk's office that there was no dog licensed for the location given. The ACO responded and found no dog outside, and no one was home upon arrival. The ACO could hear two dogs barking inside the house and a resident of the home stated that the dog had been out briefly to go to the bathroom before being brought back inside. No action was taken.

At 9:42 p.m., police filed a report regarding a cell phone that was reportedly stolen or lost at King's in Dedham. The phone was reportedly left in the bathroom stall of the women's restroom, and the owner found it gone after going back to get it five minutes later.
