Police Log: Men's Warehouse Robbed, Drivers Without a License

An excerpt from the Dedham Police Department's May 18-19 police log.

The following is an excerpt from the  log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.

May 18

  • At 12 p.m., Men's Warehouse reported to police that two males stole nine leather jackets and hopped into a black Hyundai Sonata before racing southbound on Providence Highway. Police have not located the suspects.
  • At 2:05 p.m., police arrested Scott Dicks, 41 of Norton, for allegedly driving with a revoked license and arrested him on an outstanding warrant for a past OUI arrest.
  • At 9:08 p.m., a Legacy Place shopper reported that someone had smashed the driver's side window of her car and stolen her laptop and GPS unit.

  • At 9:53 a.m., a Dresser Avenue man reported that his ex-girlfriend won't give back his dog. The report was filed as a larceny.
  • At 2:31 p.m., a driver on High Street was issued a violation for driving with revoked insurance and a suspended driver's license.
  • At 3:51 p.m., a Bussey Street resident reported that a person was sitting in a car and shooting a rifle at a house. When police arrived, they discovered the person was using a BB rifle gun.
