Police Log: Larcenies on McNeil, 'Shooting' Hoax by Kids

McNeil Way Larecenies Reported

Police fielded four reports of robberies on McNeil Way on Tuesday, including at the business Clothing and Accessories Galore.

Victims reported jewelry, stamps and clothing stolen.

Youths Allegedly Involved in Shooting Hoax

Police traced a 911 call back to the  at Legacy Place Tuesday that reported that someone was shot outside on Providence Highway, police records show.

The call originally went to state police, and then transferred to Dedham dispatch officers.

Eight  officers responded to Legacy Place to investigate, but determined that four youths were playing with phones at the store, according to authorities. Police transported the youths back to the station.

Prescription Medication Stolen

Police received a call on Wednesday morning that 38 perscription medication pills were stolen from a residence on Oscars Way.
