Police Log: Dedham Man Arrested for Alleged OUI

Thursday, Nov. 3

  • At 8:03 a.m., a caller reproted that they were bitten by a dog on High Street. The victim declined medical transport to the hospital.
  • At 6:27 p.m., a driver was pulled over for attaching wrong plates to his vehicle. Police issued a citation.
  • At 6:44 p.m., police issued 10 parking citations for cars illegally parked on Whiting Avenue.
  • At 10:27 p.m., police arrested Jamesy Rue, 36 of West Roxbury, for allegedly driving with a suspended license.

Wednesday, Nov. 2

  • At 12:29 p.m., police arrested 62-year-old Stephen MacAusland, of Dedham, for allegedly driving drunk on Providence Highway.
  • At 2:53 p.m., police responded to Sherwood Road for a report of an attempted house break. Two suspects fled toward East Dedham.
  • At 11:30 p.m., a driver at Legacy Place reported a hit-and-run accident that left one car with a damaged headlight, bumper and right fender.

October 28

  • Westwood Police arrested a Dedham man for larceny after they observed him rummaging through mailboxes and removing mail from them on Clapboardtree Street. Steve Rodriguez, 18, of 334 Whiting Ave. in Dedham was arrested and charged with two counts of larceny. Police notified U.S. postal inspection services of the incident.
