Police Log: Computers Stolen from McGolf, Bussey Street Vandalism

The following is an excerpt from the Dedham Police Department log from Oct. 14-16. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account.

Sunday, Oct. 16

  • At 10:47 a.m., a two-car accident on High Street sent one person with injuries to Norwood Hospital.
  • At 12:09 p.m., a two-car accident on Walnut Street sent one person with injuries to Norwood Hospital.
  • At 7:08 p.m., a caller alerted police that kids were gathered at , which is currently closed to the public because of renovations.

Saturday, Oct. 15

  • At 6:52 a.m., a Durham Road resident reported that a blue bicycle was stolen overnight.

  • At 2:37 p.m., a Clark Street car accident sent two people with injuries to Norwood Hospital.
  • At 5:48 p.m., a caller reported that while parked on Washington Street, someone slashed his tires.
  • At 6:35 p.m., the owner of a Bussey Street laundromat reported juveniles had broken his storefront window.
  • At 6:57 p.m., a two-car accident on Providence Highway sent one person to the hospital with an injury.
  • At 11:12 p.m., police responded to Rodgers Avenue for a report of loud teenagers who were urinating in the road.
