American Flag, iPod, Scooter Among Items Stolen in Dedham

The following excerpts are from Dedham Police reports from Nov. 4-10.

 The following are incidents that the Dedham Police Department responded to recently based upon police reports provided to Dedham Patch: 


On Nov. 4, the Dunkin Donuts at 395 Providence Highway reported the glass on their exterior door was smashed. Nothing was reported stolen from the store.

On Nov. 4 a caller on Boulevard Street reported her four by six foot American Flag was stolen from the front of her home.

On Nov. 4, graffiti was found on the back of the Mother Brook Arts and Community Center and On Nov. 5 in various locations at the Endicott Train Station.

On Nov. 4 , a Coronation Drive resident reported her wallet and purse were stolen from her unlocked vehicle  The next day, on Nov. 5 another resident on Coronation Drive reported his iPod 5 was stolen from his vehicle.

On Nov. 6, a caller reported a vehicle backing out of her neighbor’s driveway, struck her fence.

On Nov. 7, a shoplifter was reported stealing a cell phone at Radio Shack.  The suspect is described as a short white mail with gray hair, who fled the scene in a  blue Jeep Cherokee after he was confronted. 

On Nov. 9, a caller reported a rock may have been thrown at her vehicle window while she was driving by Oakdale Square.

On Nov. 9 an electric scooter was reported stolen on President’s Way.

On Nov. 10 a Dedham resident reported someone stole his mailbox overnight.  Police did not release the victim’s street address.
