Police: Dedham Teen Arrested for Vandalism

arrested an 18-year-old Dedham man early Tuesday morning after he allegedly tore down a tent outside of the .

According to police reports, an eyewitness called police to report that she saw a man knocking down tents set up on a field on Recreation Road.

Police responded in a matter of 30 seconds, reports stated, and located Jonathan Dalton, who matched the description the witness gave.

Dalton denied tearing down the tents, but officer Kenneth Ellis noted he had muddy shoes, and police couldn’t locate anyone else in the area matching the caller’s description.

Dalton was charged with vandalism and released on $40 bail.

Cops: California Man Arrested for No License

Police arrested 51-year-old Scott G. Wakefield, III, of Malibu, Calif., Monday afternoon for allegedly making an improper left turn and driving with a revoked license.
