More Flower Vandalism, Car Break-ins Over Weekend

Dedham Police handled several noise complaints for loud parties and several minor car accidents, but here is a look at other incidents police dealt with over the weekend:

  • More vandalism hit Dedham's popular flowerpots over the weekend as flowers were found dumped into Mother Brook, according to police reports. This follows an arrest of one Dedham teen last week for allegedly destroying a Dedham Civic Pride flowerpot.
  • Three cars on Myrtle Street were broken into Friday night, with one car owner reporting to police that an iPod and GPS were missing.
  • BJ's Wholesale Club on Providence Highway reported to police that someone stole a case of Hennessy Whiskey with a price tag of $400 on Friday.
