Hit-and-Run Injures Pedestrian on Congress Place

Dedham Police are investigating the Tuesday afternoon accident.

responded Tuesday afternoon to a report of a pedestrian hit by a car on the corner of Congress Place and Bussey Street.

An officer at the scene said the person hit was not seriously injured and did not require hospitalization.

Police say the supsected vehicle fled the scene before authorities arrived. Police will investigate and try to track down the driver of the car.
