UPDATED: Highway Ramp Closed Due to Tractor-Trailor Rollover

The ramp will be closed for two to three hours.

UPDATE (2:45 p.m.) - Massachusetts State Police said in a statement Monday afternoon that the Rte. 128 on-ramp in Dedham was reopened at about 2:10 p.m. following a Monday morning rollover involving a 2005 Western Star dump truck.

The truck lost its load of more than 90,000 pounds of asphalt, and the driver, a 64-year-old North Attleborough man, was transported to Beth Isreal Hospital in Boston with a lower body injury.

Massachusetts State Police closed the ramp Monday morning for about two to three hours following a tractor-trailer rollover, State Police said in a news release.

Troopers from the State Police Barracks in Framingham responded to the area at about 10:26 a.m. Monday.

There was minor damage to the road as a result of the incident, State Police said. The State Police Commercial vehicle Enforcement Section was on scene Monday assisting with the investigation.
