Dorchester Women Arrested for H&M Theft

Dedham Police arrested the pair after they were allegedly seen putting nearly $350 worth of merchandise into their bags.

Police arrested a pair of Dorchester women on Friday after they allegtedly tried to steal nearly $350 from at Legacy Place.

Delia Vieira, 28, and Izilada Monteiro, 30, were seen putting several pieces of clothing into their bags by store employees, according to police. 

Vieira is banned from all H&M stores after she shoplifted from one of the company's stores in Boston, police stated.

Vieira had $223 worth of merchandise and Monteiro had $121 worth of clothing.

Both women were charged with shoplifting. Vieira also was charged with trespass.

Bad Checks Cashed at Unnamed Bank

are seeking criminal larceny charges against a man who allegedly deposited several checks last month that he knew were bad into two new bank accounts, and then withdrew the money the next day.

The bank, which police didn't identify, contacted the man to repay the bank, but he didn't meet their deadline. 

The unidentified man is being charged with larceny over $250.

Wallet Theft at Local Fitness Club

A Needham man had to cancel his credit cards on Saturday after he found his wallet was stolen out of his car while he was at a fitness club in Dedham, police stated.

Police didn't identify which club the man visited.

The man's credit cards had several charges on them from establishments in Dedham and one in Walpole, reports stated.
