Dedham Police to Deliver Insiders Look During Citizens Academy

The program will be nine weeks and free for residents of Dedham.

 

The Dedham Police Department will hold its first Citizens Police Academy, a nine-week program to give residents an inside look of the department.

The informational program will give residents a platform to exchange information with police officials, learn about crime prevention, juvenile issues, alcohol enforcement, traffic issues and many other topics.

The Academy will meet once per week on Wednesday nights starting at 6 p.m. Each session will last approximately two to three hours. There is nocharge for this program. Space is limited. Please go to www.Dedhampolice.org to find the citizen application for this program.

The Academy will run from May 2 through June 27. Completed applications should be returned to Chief Michael d’Entremont, 600 High Street, Dedham, MA 02026. Please call 781-751-9304 with any questions.
