Dedham Police on the Lookout For Shooting Suspect

Dedham, Boston and Massachusetts State police have responded to a shooting on VFW Parkway near Waves and iParty just before 5 p.m., according to several reports on social media.

Universalhub.com reported that police are looking for a green, '95 Accord, possibly driven by a Mattapan man; another person in the car may be from Roslindale.

Dedham officials say a woman was grazed in the forehead by a bullet on the VFW parkway and that she knows her attacker, according to a tweet by a WBZ News Radio reporter Lana Jones.

The victim managed to drive their car to the Dedham Police Station to get help. They were taken to Beth Israel Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to MyFoxBoston.com.

Dedham Police confirmed the shooting to Patch but were not able to give any more information at this time.
