Dedham Police Looking for Masked Suspect in Family Dollar Robbery

In a statement Tuesday, the police said no weapon was shown in the incident Sunday night.

Dedham police are on the lookout for a masked male party suspected of robbing the Family Dollar Store on Bussey Street Sunday night. 

The incident occurred around 9:50 p.m., when the suspect entered the store and indicated by his actions that he had a weapon, according to a statement by the Dedham Police Department Tuesday. No weapon, however, was shown.

The suspect then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. Dedham police are actively investigating the incident, and anyone with information related to the crime are urged to contact the Dedham Police Department Detective Bureau at 781-751-9300.
