Dedham Police Log: Woman Drives Into Tree, Larceny and More

The following information was provided by the Dedham Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Tuesday, July 9
(8:26 p.m.) Malicious damage was done to a car that was parked on High Street. The 2002 red mercedes had key marks all over the trunk of the vehicle.  A report was filed.

Wednesday, July 10
(11:54 p.m.) A car hit knocked down a tree by the Oakdale School.  According to reports, it is possible that the driver was falling asleep and ended up drifting onto the sidewalk and collided with the tree.

Thursday, July 11
(9:25 p.m.) A woman walked into the police station to report that several items were taken from her car while her car was parked at the Dedham Mall.  A report was filed.

Sunday, July 14
(12:33 a.m.) A car was broken into at the parking lot of T.G.I. Fridays.  The passenger side window was completely smashed and the items included a bag from the GAP and some personal checks  A report was filed.
