Dedham Police Log: Warrant Arrests, BB Shots Fired, and Shoplifting

The following are some incidents that occurred in Dedham during the last week according to Dedham Police Department reports.

  • On Aug. 26, Dedham Police arrested Faytonia Love, of 63 Evans St. #1, Dorchester, after a computer check determined the registered owner of the vehicle, Love, was wanted for a straight warrant out of Randolph, according to a Dedham Police report. Her vehicle was towed.
  • On Aug. 26, Dedham Police spoke with a Washington Street resident who said two small holes were found in front of the house, believed to have been made by BB pellets. There are no suspects and it believed to be a random act, according to a Dedham Police report.
  • On Aug. 26, Dedham Police arrested and charged, David Reid, of 43 Liberty Lane, Norwood, with shoplifting from Best Buy, after a store employee allegedly saw Reid put $129 Bose earphones in his pants and try to leave without paying.
  • On Aug. 27, Dedham Police stopped a vehicle due to a back taillight being out. The vehicle was registered to an individual in Norwood. The driver of the vehicle provided a driver's license from Ireland, and said he had been living in America for three years and had applied for a Massachusetts license. The man was cited and the vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
  • On Aug. 28, James Robertson, of 63 West Spring St., Avon, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering into a building, ship, vessel or vehicle at night, and larceny of more than $250.
