Dedham Police Log: Shoplifting, Credit Card Fraud and More

The following information was provided by the Dedham Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

 

Monday, May 13

(11:09 p.m.)  According to police reports, a couple walked into a store in Legacy Place and stole four pairs of jeans values at $200 each. A search of the area met with negative results.

Tuesday, May 14

(10:13 a.m.) A man came into the station to report to Dedham Police that there was a fraudulent charge on his credit card. A report was filed.

(2:23 p.m.) There was a report of a shoplifter at Legacy Place.  According to reports, the suspect was concealing clothing down his pants.  When the suspect tried to walk out, it was obvious to the employees that he had items stuffed down his pants.  According to police, the suspect stole $253.99 worth of merchandise.  He was then place under arrest.

Thursday, May 16

(8:56 p.m.) A man walked into the police station and reported that there was fraudulent activity on his credit card.  A report was filed.

Saturday, May 18

(2:50 p.m.)  A woman reported to Dedham Police that her car was broken into and $200 worth of items were taken.  A report was filed.

(5:35 p.m.)  A man reported to police that his car was broken into.  A report was filed.
