(12:37 p.m.) According to police reports, there was a report of a past larceny at a supermarket on Providence Highway. The employees informed police that the suspect fled northbound on Providence Highway, but the merchandise was recovered.
According to the loss prevention employee, the suspect was a black female who selected a large quantity of items, walked passed the registers and tried to exit the store without paying for the items. A loss prevention employee started to follow the suspect into the parking lot and told her that she needed to return to the store with the items. She then told the employee that she "didn't have time." She then left the carriage behind, went inside her vehicle and fled the scene. The total value of the merchandise was $303.35.
(7:45 p.m.) A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the Dedham Plaza parking lot around 7:20 p.m., according to reports. The operator of the vehicle told police that she was trying to exit the parking lot. She then told police that as she was turning she noticed the victim crossing the lot at the last minute and tried to stop, but due to the wet ground and rain she struck the victim. According to a witness, the operator of the vehicle was driving between 5 and 10 mph. The victim was treated by Fire/EMS.

(4:43 a.m) There was a report of a stolen iPhone at Legacy Place. The owner of the phone informed police that he left his phone on a desk next to the cash registers in one of the stores. He believes that between 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. there were two males walking around the store. The owner of the phone believes that one of them reached over and stole the phone. The store did not have video surveillance to confirm the report.
