Dedham Police Investigating 'Potentially Explosive' Package Sent to Business

are investigating the delivery of explosives Tuesday afternoon to a business physically split between Dedham and Boston, according to .

A package was delivered by UPS to 65 Sprague St., where employees opened it and called the Boston Police, according to reports.

"The Boston Police Bomb Squad responded and determined that the suspicious items were not a threat," d'Entremont stated in a press release.

Unconfirmed police scanner reports stated the explosives were inert grenades.

The package was physically received in Dedham, not Boston, therefore Dedham Police will handle the investigation, d'Entremont stated.
