Dedham Officials Swear in New Firefighters, Lieutenants
Five new firefighters and four new fire lieutenants were sworn in by selectmen.
Dedham's newest fire officials were officially sworn in to their roles this week.
The Dedham Board of Selectmen swore in Paul Sullivan, Kevin O'Brien, Justin Callaghan, Alex Bender and Tim Gadon at Thursday night's meeting, according to Dedham Firefighters IAFF Local #1735.
All five graduated from the Brookline Fire Academy at a ceremony in late June.

Also on Thursday, the Selectmen swore in four new Fire Lieutenants: Joseph Gleason, Robert DeVincent, William McElhinny and Richard Staunton, according to the announcement.
