Dedham Man Killed in Westwood Crash

Two people were taken to the hospital with injuries, and traffic was diverted for several hours.

According to the Westwood Police Department, a 30-year-old man from Dedham was killed in a two-car crash on Sunday. 

The man's name has not been released pending proper notification to relatives 
of the decedent.

The investigation into the cause of the crash continues, with the Massachusetts State Police Accident Reconstruction Team working closely with Westwood Police.

ORIGINAL STORY - Sept. 30 -- On Sunday, Sept. 29, at approximately 2:28 p.m., Westwood Police and EMS responded to a two-car motor vehicle crash on East Street near Smith Drive in Westwood, according to a statement made by Westwood Police. 

Two individuals were transported to a Boston hospital with injuries, and traffic was diverted from the scene for several hours. 

The Massachusetts State Police Accident Reconstruction Team was requested to the scene to assist.
