Dedham Man Charged in Additional Dunkin Donuts Robberies

Prosecutors are saying Isaish Murphy has admitted to committing robbery at  several Dunkin Donuts. but the 23-year-old Dedham resident entered a plea of not guilty in Attleboro District Court Thursday to robbing stores in North Attleboro and Plainville, according to a report in The Sun Chronicle.

In Attleboro District Court, Murphy was held in jail on $100,000 cash or $1 million surety.

Murphy was already being held on $200,000 cash bail out of Stoughton District Court for Dunkin Donuts robberies in Norfolk County.

His attorney David Velesig had requested bail between $5,000 and $10,000, citing his client "didn't flee" when police encountered him at work, worked two jobs and was getting his associate's degree, according to the Sun Chronicle.

Police allege that Murphy told them he committed the crimes to play off debts.

In the Norfolk County, Murphy was arrested by the Canton police where Dunkin Donuts was robbed twice. The town is also the headquarters for Dunkin Donuts.
