Dedham Man Arrested For Assault May Be Repeat Offender

The Dedham man who allegedly kicked another man in the head on Saturday was arrested years ago on similar charges.

The Dedham man, who police believe kicked a man in the head during a fight after the Red Sox parade, has been arrested in the past on similar charges.

Kieran Boyle, now 21, was arrested in 2010 for being part of a mob that allegedly attacked a Walpole resident and his friend with a baseball bat in an apparent robbery attempt, according to Boston.com.

Boyle, age 18 at the time, was among five or six men who ambushed the 33-year-old Walpole man and another person back in 2010 as they returned from a walk to the store just after midnight.
