Dedham, Boston Police Warn Residents of Break-ins

Residents are asked to be alert and watch for suspicious activity.

Over the past two weeks there have been multiple instances of the homes of elderly residents being broken in to and/or signs of attempted breaks during the night time. These have occurred in the area of River, High and Milton streets. Breaks have taken place while residents were home. Residences in both Dedham and Hyde park have been victimized.

The Dedham and Boston police departments are requesting your assistance in this matter. Please be alert for strangers in your neighborhood, watch for people who are unknown to you entering or leaving your neighbors homes, especially if the neighbors are elderly.

If you make any observations of this nature, please call 911 immediately with a full description of the individual and location.
