Cops: Pair Swiped 2 GPS Units from Train Place Car

Dedham Police arrested Nicholas Deberry, 20 of Dedham, and Alex Tambasidis, 19 of West Roxbury, on Thursday.

Two men were arrested Thursday night for allegedly stealing two GPS devices, diabetes medication and other items from one car and attempting to break into at least one other vehicle.

said they found Nicholas Deberry, 20 of Dedham, and Alex Tambasidis, 19 of West Roxbury, in possession of stolen items reported missing from a car on Train Place.

Police received a call at 9:15 p.m. Thursday reporting two males attempting to break into a car on Clisby Avenue, and when they arrived police say Deberry and Tambasidis matched the description.

When searched, police found a bottle of prescription medication in Deberry's pocket, according to police reports.

Police say they found two GPS units, two car chargers, a digital camera and a screw driver in Tambasidis' pocket, reports stated.

Witnesses told police that they called when they saw a Jeep driving down Clisby without headlights on because there had been several car break-ins recently, reports stated.

Deberry was charged with breaking and entering into a car, possessing a burglarious instrument, receiving stolen property, attempt to commit a crime and possession of a class E substance.

Tambasidis was charged with breaking and entering into a car, possessing a burglarious instrument, receiving stolen property and attempt to commit a crime.
