The rain threatened but stayed away and the sun made an appearance just in time for graduation on the grounds of Ursuline Academy on Sunday afternoon, June 3. At 2:30, the graduates processed down the hill, making a striking appearance, clad in long white dresses and carrying roses.
Delivering the invocation was Sister Angela Krippendorf. Gabriella Santone delivered the salutatory address and Norah Griffin, the valedictory address. An invited speaker for the happy occasion was Michaela McMahon Popeo, a member of the class of 1989. Mary Jo Keaney, presented diplomas to 73 graduates.
