Obituary: Arthur C. Iorio

Arthur C. Iorio of Scituate, formerly of Dedham, died May 24, 2013.

He was beloved husband of the late Mary (Leahy) Iorio, loving father of Thomas Bruso of Palermo, ME, Gregory Parsons and his wife Marissa of Boston and David Parsons of Scituate, grandfather of Corson Bruso of Palermo, ME., brother of Patricia Gannon and her husband, John and Frances Morgan, all of Norton and the late David Iorio of Dedham and Scituate.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Son of the late Archie and Frances Iorio. He was also the lifelong friend of Eddie Ferrari of Dedham.

Mr. Iorio was proprietor of The Minot Light Inn in Scituate.

The funeral will be from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, Wednesday at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, Scituate Harbor at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours will be Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment will be private.
