Mary S. (Gilbert) Balestra: Dedham Native, Survived by Nine Grandchildren

Mary S. (Gilbert) Balestra, of Foxboro, formerly of Dedham died on Monday, Feb. 3. 

Devoted mother of Michael Balestra of McKinney, Texas; Peter Balestra of Old Orchard Beach, Maine; Edward Balestra of Danvers; Susan Madigan of Foxboro. Loving sister of Edward Sullivan of Dennisport; Dennis Sullivan of Flye Point, Maine; Margaret Otto and Helen Nehiley both of Dedham; Barbara Sullivan of West Roxbury. Also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great granchild.

Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St. Dedham, Friday, Feb. 7 at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
