Guido Merlini, Dedham Native, Dies at 90

Guido Merlini, of Dedham formerly of Hyde Park, passed away at the age of 90 on Feb. 3, 2013.

He was the beloved husband of the late Mary (Downey) Merlini. Devoted father of Christina A. Horrigan and her husband Eugene of South Yarmouth, Michael G. Merlini of Taunton and the late William Merlini. Also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Brother of the late Josephine Colli, Peter Merlini, and Lena Roy.

The funeral will take place at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High Street, in Dedham on Wednesday at 8 a.m.

The funeral mass will take place in St. Anne’s Church, Readville, at 9 a.m.

Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be today at 4 p.m.-8 p.m.

Interment Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury. WW II Veteran US Navy. Late member of the Jacob Jones VFW Post 2017, Disabled Veterans Dedham Chapter 42, Ironworks Union Local.
