Edward F. Flanagan., Jr. of Dedham, formerly of Roslindale, died on Saturday, April 5, 2014. 

Beloved husband of Nancy (Dineen) Flanagan. Devoted father of Michael Flanagan and his wife Lisa of Norfolk; Edward Flanagan and his wife Jennifer of Franklin; Kathleen Remillard and her husband Christopher of Bellingham; Ellen Connolly and her husband John of Weymouth; Mary Pontbriand and her husband Steve of Woonsocket, RI. Loving Papa of Conor, Erin, Ryan, Courtney, Kelly, Christopher, Cody, Casey, Seamus, Liam, Brendan, Dani Jane, and Jack. Brother of Thomas J. Flanagan and his wife Joan of Millis, and the late Patricia Sheldon.

Retired employee of Boston Edison Company.

Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Wednesday, April 9 at 8 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Tuesday, April 8 from 4-8 p.m. Interment in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston.
