Start a Blog for 2012 on Dedham Patch

Join our Local Voices and write on a topic of your choosing.

Our New Year's resolution at Dedham Patch is to bring even more interesting and local information to out readers, and you can help! Start a blog and become one of our Local Voices and share your thoughts, expertise and insights with your neighbors.

Think of blogging like writing a letter to the editor, as often as you want on any topic. Or like a conversation among friends and neighbors. Or as a way to share your expertise on whatever you’re skilled at. Everyone’s got something to say, and we’d love for you to say it on Dedham  Patch.

Got a political opinion? Want to share your weekly sermon or an inspirational story? Just want to make us laugh? Blog

On the theme of the New Year, have you made any resolutions that you could use for a blog? Perhaps you resolved to lose weight, to start to eat healthier, to quit smoking or just to have a better outlook or attitude. A blog on your progress, what you learn along the way and how you stay focused on the resolution would be a great blog and could help others with the same goals!

The great thing about blogging (a.k.a. writing for the Web) is that you can write in whatever style you choose, at any length, as often as you like. If you want to post something every day, do it. If you’re more of a weekly or every-other-week kind of blogger, that’s great, too. We want you everyone.

Why is blogging so important to us? Dedham Patch is more than a place to catch up on daily news and find business information in our local directory (though we think we do a pretty good job with both). We are a community, and no community is complete without lots of conversation, give and take, information, questions, answers and simple “hello”s. We’re Dedham online, and we—and your friends and neighbors—want to hear from you.

Interested? Send me an e-mail at TimothyR@Patch.com. I can’t wait to see what you have to say.

Happy New Year!
