Bean is a 4-month-old rabbit up for adoption at the Animal Rescue League of Boston's Dedham shelter.

I’m Bean and I am a 4-month-old rabbit. I am very sweet, friendly, and pretty cute!

I was born in foster care and then I was adopted with my brother Steamer. Unfortunately, we were too much work for the family and I do not get along with my brother anymore - so I am back up for adoption.

I love fresh veggies, pellets and hay. That is my main diet with a big bottle, of water of course. Carrots are my favorite followed by greens.

I seem to be OK with dogs walking by and would be able to tolerate living with a nice calm dog or cat. Kids are fun and I would not mind living with them either. I just need to be the only rabbit or be housed and have playtime separately.

I am now neutered and ready to go to my forever home.

Please remember, rabbits require a lot of work, time and commitment like a dog or a cat. They need a large cage or pen to be comfortable and happy. They also need daily enrichment and playtime with people. Chew sticks, toys and places to jump on or hide in should be provided as well as a proper diet. The cage should be cleaned out about every 2-3 days and the hay box should be cleaned daily.

If you are interested in adopting me please call for information or stop by and visit. Please bring a picture of my new (already set up) cage with you to insure I will be happy in my new home. My adoption fee is $65.
