Last Thursday marked an annual fun-filled event in Dedham: . 

But preceeding the parade was a bit of controversy created by in an area dedicated to the town's veterans. 

The rabbit was one of more than a dozen created as part of the , which culminated in the spring with artist-painted fiberglass rabbit sculptures. The rabbits were then placed across town in high-visibility locations.

But one of the rabbits created a stir due to its placement, though the rabbit in question was dedicated to veterans and was not placed there to cause harm, according to an article on Boston.com.
