Five Things You Need to Know: Oct. 4 Artists Reception, Anti-Bullying, and More

Here are five things you need to know for Thursday!

Today's Weather: Today there will be a chance of rain or drizzle before 9 a.m., then showers likely, mainly after 2 p.m. Areas of fog before 1 p.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 68. For tonight, you can expect showers and thunderstorms before 10 p.m., then a chance of showers between 10 p.m. and 11 .pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Areas of fog after 7 p.m. Otherwise, cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 53, according to The National Weather Service.

1. Join the Dedham Square Artists Guild, 553 High Street, to celebrate the one year anniversary of Lisa W.B. Walker and Cindy Mootz. There will be an open reception and it's free to attend. The event will start at 5 p.m.

2. Cariad Harmon and Jon Paul will be performing at Paradise Cafe, 565 High St. in Dedham. The show starts at 8 p.m. and it's free to attend!

3. Sheep Skate Yarn & Craft, 549 High St., will have a "Hand Holding for Crocheters" class at 4 p.m. The class costs only $10 to join.

4. There will be a Zumba Toning class at 671 High St. in Dedham. The class starts at 7:15 p.m. and costs $115 for a eight week session.
