5 Things to Do This Weekend: Super Bowl Edition

So there's some game on Sunday... (and hopefully a parade next week). But what else is going on in Dedham?

It's Thursday, and you've got no idea what you'll do for the weekend. Dedham Patch is coming to the rescue.

  1. Where/When:  on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    Why go: Join the celebration for a new picture book written by Amy Krause Rosenthal and illustrated by Dedham's Peter Reynolds, released just in time for Valentine's Day.
    Price: Free
  2. Where/When: on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    Why go:
    Support children programs and museum passes at the Dedham Public Library - and find a great new read at the same time.
    Price:
     Much cheaper than Amazon, that's for sure.
  3. FRIENDS OF DEDHAM FOOTBALL SUPER BOWL PARTY
    Where/When:
    (Deli After Dark) on Sunday at 4 p.m.
    Why go: Enjoy the Patriots game with plenty of food, while benefiting the Dedham High School football team. There will be plenty of other ways to help out with auctions and squares.

  4. Where/When: , 1211 Highland Ave., Needham on Sunday at 4 p.m.
    Why Go:The Father Daniel J. Kennedy Needham  Council 1611 will host a Super Bowl Party on Sunday at the K of C hall at 1211 Highland Ave. Doors will open at 4 p.m., and there will be food, raffles, a silent auction and more. The Knights will be raffling off a new HD TV. Raffle tickets for the TV are $10 each and can be purchased in advance by emailing NeedhamKofC@gmail.com. Individuals do not need to be present to win.

  5. DEDHAM HIGH SCHOOL GIRL'S HOCKEY
    Where/When:
    on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
    Why go: Watch the Marauders try to avenge an earlier loss to rival Norwood in a much-anticipated Bay State tilt.
