Take in a murder mystery, help a band director and hit a few craft shows this weekend.

  1. Where/When:; Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
    Why go: Enjoy an exciting murder myster show put on by the Dedham Library Innovation Team. All proceeds will benefit a strategic plan for the library. Refreshments will be served.

  2. Where/When:; Friday at 7 p.m.
    Why go: Help fray medical costs for Dedham Middle School band director Don Heald on Friday. The community is coming together for this 21-plus fundraiser.
    Pricing: $30 at the door

  3. Where/When: ; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    Why go: The Dedham Junior Woman's Club Craft Fair wiil feature over 75 crafters offering a variety of products to start your holiday shopping. All proceeds benefit local organizations and charities along with funding the Dedham Junior Woman's Club Annual School Scholarships.   4. Where/When: Norwood High School, 245 Nichols St., Norwood; Sunday, 11 a.m.Why go: Show off your running skills and burn a few calories before Thanksgiving turkey hits the table.

     , 340 Clapboardtree St., Westwood; Saturday, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
    Why Go:
     The annual fair will feature beautifully-decorated fresh holiday wreaths, gift items, homemade baked goods and pies, a jewelry boutique, collectibles, hand knit children’s sweaters and hats, and – across the street in the church barn – Attic Treasures.
