5 Things to Do This Weekend: February 10-12

It's a weekend with ways to relax in Dedham: a retro party, lots of chocolate tasting and hiking in February.

    Where/When: Wilson Mountain, Common St., Dedham on Saturday at 10 a.m.
    Why Go: Come along with on a free group snowshoe hike of Wilson Mountain in Dedham, with beautiful summit views of the Blue Hills and the Boston skyline. Head over on Saturday around 9:45 a.m. with your snowshoes, poles, water and snacks, then enjoy a late morning hike from 10 a.m. to noon.   • Where/When: on Saturday at 8:45 a.m.
    Why go: Registered Democrats living in Dedham will select delegates to attend the state convention in June.
    Price: Free to attend; open to all registered democrats.

  • Where/When: on Friday at 5 p.m.
    Why go: If you don't get your fill at Dedham Square's chocolate event on Thursday, head down to Whole Foods for more chocolate tasting. On second thought, is there such thing as getting your fill on chocolate?

  • Dedham High School Girl's Hockey vs. Walpole
    Where/When:
    on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
    Why go: Two of the best teams in Division 2 will square off in this Bay State tilt. Walpole enters undefeated in Bay State action, including a 5-2 win earlier this season against the Marauders.

  • Riverdale Retro Night
    Where/When:
      on Friday beginning at 8 p.m.
    Why go: Rock back in time with friends from the PTO. Proceeds will benefit PTO-sponsored programs at the school. You even have your choice of decade to travel back to - the 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s!
    Pricing: $20 per person (adults only)
