5 Things To Do This Weekend: Columbus Day Edition

   Why go: Catch a live theatre musical in Dedham Square that incorporates all aspects of love - the happy, the sad, the pretty, the bad. Musical selections include numbers from: "Kiss Me Kate," "She Loves Me," "West Side Story," and "RENT" among others.

2. Where/When: American Legion, 155 Eastern Ave., Dedham; Oct. 14: 7:30 p.m.
   Why go: Support those who support community in this third annual event. All proceeds benefit the efforts of the . Plus show off to your friends and neighbors with your useless knowledge of trivial facts. So get your tickets this weekend!

3. Where/When: Lakeshore Dr & High St, Westwood; Saturday, Oct. 8: 7 p.m.
   Why Go: Come enjoy an outdoor concert on Lake Shore Drive and see Boston-based acoustic rock band Adam Ezra Group. The event is meant to help raise money for Westwood families with children in cancer treatment.

4. Where/When: , 51 Lincoln St, Needham; Friday, Oct. 7: 10 a.m.
   Why Go: Please donate coats/jackets and Halloween costumes now to The Needham Community Council Thrift Shop for our upcoming sale in October. Help re-use and re-cycle items that your family will no longer wear. All donated items should be in good condition and re-saleable.
