DMS shows it`s Support on “Team Spirit Day” at School …

We`re going in to the weekend with the 2013 MLB World Series tied at one game apiece. The 600 plus students, teachers and staff at the Dedham Middle School wanted to show their support for the home team and held a “Team Spirit Day” at the school this past week. The Cafeteria was a sea of Boston Red Sox jersey`s as the boys and girls in grades 6 / 7 / 8 filed in for lunch.

There was an 86 year drought before the local team won the Series in 2004 and repeated in 2007. The turnaround from last year`s disappointing last place finish to going back to the World Series this year has been called a “miracle.”

For the Middle School students, the 6 year wait was “long enough” and they showed there appreciation for the home team and their success this magical season.

Good Luck in St. Louis this weekend for games 3, 4, and 5. Let`s bring that trophy home!
