Dedham Senior Living Community Celebrates Thanksgivukkah

Chanukkah and Thanksgiving coincide for the first time since 1888 and one Dedham senior living center is celebrating.

Thanksgiving and the first day of the Jewish celebration of Chanukkah coincide for the first time since 1888 and the Hebrew SeniorLife in Dedham will celebrate the two holidays with Thanksgivukkah.

The two holidays will not fall on the same day for another 79,043 years.

The Hebrew SeniorLife will celebrate the Thanksgivukkah feast with 800 NewBridge on the Charles senior residents with a menu combining favorite foods and dishes from both Thanksgiving and Chanukkah.  Recipes include Challah Apple Cranberry Stuffing and Sweet Potato Latkes.
