Goat Rescued in Dedham Gives Birth

A pregnant goat, which was rescued in Dedham over the summer, gave birth two three babies on Sunday.

The Animal Rescue League of Boston is calling her the most famous goat in the Commonwealth’s history.

Seraphina was found in Billerica back in August, ramming into office buildings and prancing through backyards, before she was rescued and brought to the Dedham Adoption Center.

The Adoption Center on Providence Highway announced this week that Seraphina game birth to three babies on Sunday.

The babies have been named after the characters from Three’s Company, Jack, Chrissy and Janet, according to the Dedham rescue center.

The center already has a home for the young goats, where they will live after weeks after their birth.  They also have “some good prospects" for their mother too.
