Five Things to Know: August 24, Concert at Paradise, and Looking for H.S. Writers

Todays Weather: Today will be Sunny, with a high near 84.  Tonight you can expect it to be partly cloudy, with a low around 61, according to The National Weather Service.

1. at 125 Sprague Street in Dedham, will host "Healing from Addiction" at 3:00 p.m.  It's free to attend and is open to anyone.

2. will be performing at Paradise Cafe, 565 High Street in Dedham.  The show starts at 8 p.m. and it's free to attend!

3. in Dedham is teaming up with The Home for Little Wanderers to help prepare kids for the upcoming school year.  They are collecting school supplies for underpriviledged kids.  Donations can be dropped off at 95 Bridge Street in Dedham.

4. will be meeting at The Congregational Church of Needham, 1154 Great Plain Ave. in Needham at 12 noon.  The group meets weekly from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the Congregational Church in Needham. Come share job search experiences and be part of a growing support group.
