According to Peter Brown, CEO of Dedham Savings, “Every year this is a great event, designed to assist the Dedham Police and their Community and School Resource Program to bring a variety of programs to school aged children.  Their program supports everything from bike safety in younger children, to bullying at the middle school level, all the way up to drug and alcohol prevention for older kids.  The Dedham Institution for Savings Foundation is proud to support this program, especially since State funding no longer exists to support it.”

In addition to the Golf Tournament, the Bank Foundation supports some of the other programs throughout the year.

Ronald Pucci, the Dedham Police Department appointed Community and School Resource Officer said, “No matter what program we are running throughout the year, the Dedham Institution for Savings Foundation supports us.  In addition to being the lead golf tournament sponsor, the Foundation will also do nice things throughout the year, like buy t-shirts for all the kids participating in the Bike Parade that tops off Bike Safety Week in Dedham.  You couldn’t ask for a kinder community partner.”
